Intel Will Invest 170 Million USD in China

Otellini, global president of Intel announced that Intel will invest 170 million USD in promotion innovation of environmental protection and industry chain in China. Thereinto, 150 million USD will be invested in supporting 67 projects in China; and two clear energy projects invested and operated by Intel. It is the first time of Intel to be involved in clear energy field. The two projects are research and development of film solar energy and electrical storage of power. At the same time, Intel announced to contract of investment with Viewhigh Technology Co., Ltd which is the leading software and service supplier of medical sector in China.
